Message to P5E
I've been surfing through your blogs and needless to say, I think some of you have given up blogging altogether, evident by the lack of updates.
I understand from your form teacher and from some of our past conversations that some of you spent a substantial part of your time online; chatting on MSN or playing online games. Please do something constructive with your time especially when the PSLE is less than a year away and some of you need to improve; not only in the academia sense but also in your attittude to learning.
The requirement to be a Power Blogger is simple. You just need to blog once every week or have an average of four entries in one month. Of course to flex your linguistic 'muscles', do write more. That is also why only Deanne, Huimin, Sze Yee and Geok Teng fall into this category. To the aforementioned pupils, keep up the good job and I look forward to reading your entries.
Lastly, do cultivate the love of writing and expressing yourself and it will be you who is going to benefit at the end of day.
P5E's Review of Chris Galistan (to be continued)
by Deanne::
The Musical was nice. I find that if you get involved in a theater performance, you should pronounce the words correctly and speak less Singlish. However, I heard a few of them talking in Singlish. And you know when they say their lines, there is too much expression. But overall, its ok. And sorry about becoming a Simon Cowell!!! And my favourite character were the witches and Evilia. All of them are in the bad side. And lastly, the best of all the performance was Mr Ho who was the Baddy Wolf!!!

Chris Galistan and the 7 Seeds: The Review by P5E
"I enjoy the show so much that I wish I can watch the show again."
"I liked the Sleeping Betty, Cindrella, Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, Melody and Chris. They are so cute."
"I like the scene of the ball and the scene where the evil characters were singing. There isn't any part of the show that I didn't like. I wish that next year they would have another show."
excerpts from Huimin's blog @ http://huimin791.blogspot.com/
Keep those reviews/feedback about the musical coming P5E. I'll post my thoughts about the musical too once I get to finish processing the beautiful pics from the musical for your viewing pleasure :)
Attention P5E bloggers : Feedback on Musical wanted

I hope you were at the musical yesterday. Too bad I can't mingle with you or see you since I was backstage during your scheduled attendance.
Did you enjoy the show? Do add an entry to your blog on your feedback to the musical and write constructive comments about what you like/dislike about the show. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and I will quote you on the class blog if I find your comments helpful :)
Awaiting your comments,
Mr Danny
It's good to know that the spirit of blogging in some of you is still kept alive. I want to highlight Geok Teng's blog because she is one of the few who is blogging on interesting events that happened to her without any instructions from me. Good job Geok Teng. I enjoyed reading your 'ear-piercing' experience :)
If any of you have new blog address or I have failed to link you as of yet, please e-mail me at dannyasmara@hotmail.com regarding your blog-url address. I still do not have the blog address of Keith's, Michelle's and Felicia's.

Qn1) What is the secret to being a succcessful student? Do you have any recommended study tips that you wish to share with us?
Keith: I attribute my success to my assessment books.
Deanne: CASCO has helped me a lot. It is my assessment book. I owe it to them, Mr Danny and my mum. They motivated me to work harder.

The Making of Chris Galiston and the Seven Seeds the Musical

Michelle and Felicia (who's caught catching her forty-winks :)

Unfortunately, I cannot release the actual pictures of the rehearsal at this point (since I don't want to spoil the experience you will have at the musical). However, suffice to day, the rehearsal is going on full swing after school hours and everyone who is involved is working very hard. Over the days, I will 'leak' more preview photos on this blog exclusively for you :)
PS: Please be natural when I point the cam at you and don't shy away because instead of capturing a natural shot of you, you'd only end up spoiling the photo. As a photographer, it's my job to take the best shot of you :)

Congratulations P5E!
To recapitulate this epic, there were moments of uncertainty when the CA2 results were released where the grades for the majority were not as encouraging. However, at the end of the day, everyone did improve. As your English teacher, I couldn't be more proud because you have overcame the hurdles and best your earlier SA1 AND CA2 marks!
To those who have been disappointed but have tried your best, there is no shame. There's still time to improve and with steadfast determination, you will arrive at your goals. Just remember to keep your sight on what's most important and that is the steady improvement of marks over the course of the year. In that regard, you've already succeeded.
~Mary Anne Radmacher
To those who have not done their homework, corrections and the worksheets, chose to take your studies lightly and played the fool in class, it is an old adage that you reap what you sow :)
And finally to those who have scored high results consistently, do continue to persevere. A saying once goes;- "It's easy to get an 'A'. Keeping it is that much harder."
