 Yishun MRT looks like your usual non-descript above-ground MRT but it once played a key role in shaping our nation's security. In December 2001, the Singapore embassies attack plot was discovered, and had included plans to bomb Yishun MRT station at several points, including the sewers near the station. Fortunately the terrorist attempt was thwarted and new security measures related to the MRT system were proposed and implemented in light of the event.

2 senior citizens enjoying their golden years at Chong Pang market on a Saturday morning - the elderly man enjoying his karaoke via a portable DVD player and the elderly women singing along oblivious to their surroundings as the song took them to some distant yet memorable moments from the days gone by.
